Honestly, I'm pretty let down. The clip-in extensions I ordered seemed way better in the photos. The hair feels dry and the ends are kinda thin. Hopefully, the other pieces will be of better quality.

This was my first experience shopping at RUKA after searching for a wig that closely resembles my natural hair texture without needing to order from the USA. Overall, the service I received from Victoria was truly exceptional; she made me feel understood and resolved my concerns promptly while being super kind throughout our exchanges, even when I was frustrated.

I would’ve rated it 5 stars if it weren’t for a minor issue with one of the wigs.

The delivery was quick, and I received my items in just a couple of days—I purchased the Press’d lace closure wig and the Four Ayye headband wig.

In terms of texture, both wigs were fantastic! I wore the Four Ayye out yesterday and got so many compliments that I had to share the link with a few folks so they could join in on the fun too.

Sadly, I had to send back the Press’d lace wig because it had that unpleasant corn chip smell (if you’ve ever bought virgin human hair wigs from overseas, you know what I mean). I was initially just going to return it for a refund, but I thought it’d be good to reach out to customer care to explain the return. Victoria was the one I spoke to, and she helped me process the return quickly, apologized for the letdown, and even went above and beyond by sending me a complimentary RUKA hair perfume, which I used yesterday and it smelled amazing!

I’ll definitely give the company another shot for a different textured wig. I’m looking forward to enjoying the Four Ayye wig a lot in the coming weeks, and I hope to love all my products in the future with the high quality they offer.

But let me tell you, this thing is legit (I've gone swimming, hit the gym, and even enjoyed steam and sauna sessions) and it has held up like a champ. What I appreciate the most is that I can treat it just like my natural hair, using the same products and routines, though a bit more relaxed, and it matches my curl pattern perfectly; whether it's a wash and go, twist out, or a puff, it works great. I've gotten compliments every single time I've worn it! If you're on the fence, definitely try the test on the website; it was super helpful and the match was spot on. Their slick edge gel is the first one that actually kept my edges in place without breaking them! And no white streaks when it dries!!! Big thanks to Ruka!!!! This ponytail is just what I needed! It’s super thick and hardly sheds at all. I’ve already worn it about 3 times since it arrived. It’s a breeze to put on and truly stays put. I just got myself a full lace wig along with a ponytail. The texture and quality of the hair are fantastic. It looks gorgeous when styled, and I constantly get tons of compliments. I bought this for my mom since she has type 3 hair, while mine is type 4a/b. Surprisingly, it turned out to be a better fit for my 4 hair type, particularly since it tends to get frizzy like my natural locks. Folks keep saying it looks super nice and realistic on me. These clip-ins are just fantastic! I can blow dry them for a big Afro look, then wet them to revert back to curls. I can even do a twist out. They look so natural that even my family can't spot the difference!
